News stories about declining bee populations and the future promise of a bee sting serum have got me thinking about getting a bee hive (after the snow melts, of course.) Bees are very organized and single-minded, not at all freewheeling and flittery like butterflies. And after all, they do make honey. Butterflies...well, they just tell stories.

, I dressed my little model in a snowsuit on a 90 degree day and blew bubbles so she would look up. She was so happy! Now I am working on a spring book... snow is on the way.
